Negrar di Valpolicella (Vr), 23rd June 2021 - Less than a month to go before the start of the 2021 edition of the Gran Premio Palio del Recioto - Trofeo C&F Resinatura Blocchi: the race of dreams, which according to tradition should have taken place on the Tuesday after Easter, was postponed in 2020 due to the well-known restrictions caused by the Covid-19 pandemic and in this 2021 edition postponed to next Tuesday 20th July.

So it will be an "out of season" Palio del Recioto that the passionate staff of Valpolicella B.E.S.T. has been working on for several months: when less than 30 days are missing to the start everything is already ready in Negrar di Valpolicella (Vr) to host the best Under 23 talents coming from all over the world.

"Unfortunately the Coronavirus has forced us to postpone twice the 59th edition of our race. This year the race will take place in July, a completely new event that will allow us to reconnect with the prestigious history of our event," said Alessandro Comin Chiaramonti, president of Valpolicella B.E.S.T..

The starting line-up has already been defined, which has allowed the organisers to accept only part of the requests received from all five continents: "Unfortunately we have not been able to satisfy all the requests that our secretariat has received in recent months. We have reconfirmed the teams that had already been selected on the basis of our criteria for last spring's race by including some teams that had the opportunity to show off during these months of racing," added Comin Chiaramonti.

One thing is certain: also in the month of July, the Gran Premio Palio del Recioto - Trofeo C&F Resinatura Blocchi will keep intact its charm and its most beautiful tradition: the presence and the warmth of the public of the two wheels that along the roads of Valpolicella will have the opportunity to enjoy a show for refined palates.
