Franco Mori in Negrar beats all at the sprint

The rider of U.S. Bovolone has taken his first victory after his change of category - Bolzaccini and Ferrari in the places of honor.

The miner Franco Mori of the U.S. Bovolone won in a sprint the IV Gran Premio del Recioto cycling race held in Negrar. This was the first success among the amateurs of the strong rider who has prevelso under the banner of arrival on Bolzacchini, Ferrari, Filippi, Colatroni finished in order.

The race has been very exciting for the succession of escape attempts. The most spectacular one was offered by Mujelli of Pedale Scaligero who led the carousel for several laps. Unfortunately the attempt of Mujelli that has been worth to sgranare the group in so many plots is exhausted little after the half of the run. The runner betrayed by a puncture, was forced to put his foot down losing precious seconds. Absorbed by the chasing group of which were also part Franceschini and Ferrari, the fugitive was no longer able to hold the pace so as to lose precious ground. So the two Bencini's riders went on the attack and in a short time they were able first to escape from the leading group and then to gain more than a hundred meters on the pursuers.
Everything seemed to play in favor of Franceschini and Ferrari, perfect in the march and in the changes.
Unfortunately, the two accused of fatigue with the passing of the kilometers and the pursuers were made under canceling the gap in the last ten laps. Among the pursuers, the behavior of Filippi, of Gaiga, was magnificent, and he managed lap after lap to reduce the gap. The last few laps saw Mori, Ferrari, Bolzacchini (if he had dared more he could have detached everyone), Colatroni, Filippi and Franceschini in the lead. These six riders came to dispute the final sprint that was the prerogative of Mori ahead of Bolzacchini, Ferrari and the others.
Excellent from every point of view the organization taken care of by the G.S. Valpolicella Csi and prefect the order service. No incident in fact, came to disturb the race.
Among the retreatants Guerra, Quintarelli, Cordioli and others, tried not only by the pace but also by the prohibitive day.
